Maralene and Miles Wesner are teachers, ministers, counselors and prolific writers.  they hve  published over 150 Audio-Visual Education Programs.

They have written articles and study units for various Southern Baptist periodicals. Three of their books were published by Broadman Press: A Fresh Look At the Gospel, (1983); (You Are What You Choose, (1984); and How To Be a Saint, When You Feel Like a Sinner, (1986). These books are now available only through Diversity

The Wesners are noted for their hardhitting, no-nonsense style, their clear (to the point) illustrations and their willingness to face controversial issues. From the dual perspectives of both academic and religious professions, they seek to be a bridge between the spiritual and the intellectual worlds.

They both hold Masters Degrees In Education and Counseling from Oklahoma University. Miles also attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Maralene was chosen Oklahoma Teacher of the Year in 1975.

Miles has been pastor of the First Baptist Church of Tom, Oklahoma for over 50 years. It was featured in the 1987 Spring issue of the Oklahoma Baptist Chronicle, and the Oklahoma Today magazine (October, 1993). He has also been a High School Counselor.

The Wesners have led tours in all the fifty states, Canada, Mexico, Europe, Egypt, Japan, China and the Holy Land. In 1985, they were invited by the US/China Education Foundation to participate in the First Symposium on the Church in China.

They are now retired faculty members of Eastern Oklahoma State College and Southeastern State University; teaching Psychology, Sociology, Communication, Religion, Government and History.
